Entrepreneurship Masterclass
The Entrepreneurship Masterclass is a seminar (usually a full or half day) that challenges students to think about starting their own business as a career. This is achieved by introducing the students to real entrepreneurs who share their inspiration, vision, experiences and achievements.
Masterclasses aim to help students to identify the key entrepreneurial attitudes and skills required in starting their own business. In addition they help students to understand the main issues and practicalities of business start-up.
This exciting programme is designed to meet the needs of our future entrepreneurs. The seminar includes fun and interactive workshop sessions to help students think about the themes, ideas and obstacles associated with entrepreneurship. In addition there are presentation elements to the day from local entrepreneurs, during which students have the opportunity to ask questions and seek advice.
Through participating in an Entrepreneurship Masterclass students gain:
- An understanding from experts of what is involved in setting up their own business
- Knowledge of the technical process of setting up a business from the experience of others who have become today's entrepreneurs
- An understanding of the need of related experiences before becoming tomorrow's entrepreneurs
- Inspiration, enthusiasm and vision.
